Scott Rice joined Riverbend in 2008 and currently serves as Managing Partner & Chief Operating Officer, focused on engineering, business development, and strategic functions across active portfolios and platform companies.Previously, Mr. Rice served in reservoir and production engineering roles across multiple basins at Pioneer Natural Resources. Prior to joining Riverbend, Mr. Rice was elevated into an investor relations role within Pioneer, where he worked closely with Pioneer senior management and external research and investor stakeholders across both private and public markets.Mr. Rice holds a B.S. in Petroleum Engineering from Texas A&M University. He has served or currently serves on the Board of Directors of Riverbend and Royal Resources. In addition, Mr. Rice serves on the Board of The Galveston Bay Foundation, Corps of Cadets Association, and Walk & Roll for Spinal Cord Injuries Foundation.
