Strenta Investment Management (“SIM”) is an SEC registered investment adviser located in South Florida. SIM invests across a range of asset classes globally and is affiliated with a family office.

Mr. Kavalekas helped establish and manage the investment platform at Gamma Consulting,Inc. (SIM’s predecessor) starting in 2009. Mr. Kavalekas has over 20 years of investment experience in fixed income, equities, hedge funds, private equity, real estate, derivatives and commodities.

Mr. Kavalekas conducts in-depth analysis on fund managers, investment strategies, markets and asset classes, all of which are analyzed in the context of the macroeconomic environment, overall portfolio construction and the Fund’s asset allocation objectives.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Kavalekas was a Senior Research Analyst at Magnum Global Investments, a family office and global fund of hedge funds. His work has included sourcing,negotiating and executing secondary transactions, seeding hedge funds, constructing funds of hedge funds, sourcing and executing co-investments and direct investments.

Dimitris holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Tufts University, a Master’s of Science degree in Fluid Mechanics and an MBA from the University of Miami.
