Rohit Nerurkar, Head of US Real Estate Investment and Co-Head of North American Real Estate Investment, joined Mercer in 2016 and is based in New York. His responsibilities include overseeing a team that conducts research on North American real estate investment strategies, assisting clients with real estate portfolio construction and strategy, and helping lead the portfolio management of Mercer’s real estate solutions.

Prior to joining the Alternatives team in 2021, Rohit worked in Mercer’s Wealth Investment Consulting team, primarily with DB and DC clients assisting with ongoing performance evaluation, investment manager selection, investment structure review, and portfolio structure. Prior to joining Mercer in 2016, Rohit worked for Guy Carpenter, a subsidiary of Mercer’s parent company Marsh McLennan Companies, in a corporate finance and strategy role.

Rohit holds a BA/BS in Finance and Economics from the University of Connecticut. He is also a CFA® charter holder and a CAIA® charterholder.
