Dr Abdullah Alshwer is the Chief Executive Officer of Riyad Capital and a seasoned investment leader with over 20 years of experience in the financial sector. He previously served for more than six years as CEO and CIO of Ashmore Investment Saudi Arabia, where he led a major expansion in operations and assets under management. He also served as CEO of the Higher Education Fund and as Chairman and member of the Advisory Committee at the Capital Market Authority. He holds a PhD in Investment and Finance from the University of Wisconsin, an MBA from the University of Toledo, and is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
