Hani Halawani is the Chief Executive Officer of Mohammed I. Alsubeaei & Sons Investment Company (“MASIC”) since August 2021. Prior to joining MASIC, he was the Chief Investment Officer of Sanabil Investments, a PIF subsidiary, which he joined in January 2012. From 2008 to 2011 he was a Senior Vice President at Amwal Alkhaleej Commercial Investment Company. From 2005 to 2008 he worked at the World Bank Group in Washington, DC, where his last assignment was as an Investment Officer at the International Finance Corporation (IFC). From 1999 to 2005 he was part of the Project & Structured Finance Division of Banque Saudi Fransi. He started his career as an Instrumentation Engineer at Saudi Aramco in 1998. Hani holds a bachelor’s degree in systems engineering from Boston University and an MBA from the Yale School of Management. He currently represents MASIC on the Board of Thakher Development Company, Fajr Capital Limited, Alargan Projects Company, Farabi Petrochemicals Company, National Aquaculture Group Company, and MASIC Logistics. He is also an independent member of the Board of Saudi Agricultural and Livestock Investment Company (SALIC), a PIF subsidiary, and a member of the Board Investment Committee of Jadwa Investment.
