Jad Ellawn is a Managing Partner, Regional Head of the Middle East, where he is responsible for the Firm’s activities in the region. Mr. Ellawn is responsible for bringing high-conviction investments to the investment committee for the Middle East Partners strategy. Mr. Ellawn has been investing in private equity in the region since 2010.

Prior to joining Brookfield in 2018, Mr. Ellawn held senior roles in the private equity division of a leading international investment bank. Before that, Mr. Ellawn held various roles within a large investment bank in New York and London.

Mr. Ellawn holds a Master of Business Administration degree from INSEAD in Fontainebleau, France and a Bachelor of Science degree from Georgetown University.
