Kane Brenan is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of TIFF Investment Management, where he leads the firm. Building on TIFF’s three-decade legacy, Kane brings best practices in investment management and advisory, helping clients achieve their individual investment and organisational goals in an increasingly complex landscape.

Before joining TIFF, Kane spent over 20 years at Goldman Sachs. Most recently, he served as Partner, Global Head, and co-CIO of the Global Solutions Portfolio Group, where he worked closely with the large pension and endowment clients in an OCIO capacity. Prior to this, he was a Managing Director overseeing Goldman’s secondary private equity investment platform. Earlier in his career, Kane practiced as a corporate M&A lawyer at Cravath, Swaine & Moore. Kane earned his BA from Boston College and his JD/MBA from Georgetown University. He is also a member of TIFF’s Investment Committee and the TIFF Advisory Services (TAS) Board.

Outside of his work at TIFF, Kane actively serves on the boards of the Celiac, Bryn Mawr Hospital Foundation, and the Holy Child School at Rosemont. He has featured in Bloomberg, Reuters, Barron’s, CNBC, Institutional Investor, Nonprofit News/FIN News, Pensions & Investments, and has participated in broadcast and podcast media including CNBC Squawk Box, Bloomberg TV, Dakota Live and the Rosemont Roundtable Podcast, among others. Kane is also a seasoned speaker at industry events including SuperInvestor, GSAM Live, CIEBA Annual Meeting, The Chief Investment Officer Summit, Institutional Investor’s Roundtables and Events, the Institute of Business Forecasting Global Conference and TIFF Investment Forum.
