Khalid Al-Balushi is a seasoned investment leader with more than two decades of experience across sovereign wealth funds, private equity, asset management, and corporate strategy in Oman and internationally. He currently serves as CEO of Oman National Investment Development Company (TANMIA), a sovereign investment company in Oman with a diverse portfolio across direct investments and asset management in private and public markets. He oversees investments in key sectors including but not limited to real estate, mining, logistics, food, energy, technology, aviation, industrial and manufacturing, in addition to regional and global public equities.

Prior to TANMIA, Khalid served as CEO of Khazaen Economic City, Oman’s first public-private partnership (PPP) economic zone, where he led large-scale infrastructure development and investor attraction. He also held senior investment roles at ASAAS and the Oman Investment Fund, one of Oman’s sovereign wealth funds with a global investment mandate. Earlier in his career, he worked at Ernst & Young (EY) in Dubai, which laid his strong foundation in financial controls, governance, and audit.
