Mohammad Nasr is the Chief Investment Officer for Savola Group, the leading food and retail investment holding conglomerate in the GCC. He brings a wide global and regional expertise in various industries and investments. His current responsibilities include strategic planning for the Group and portfolio companies, investment origination and execution, capital allocation and reallocation and investor relations. He is also overseeing the corporate venture capital program on disruptive food and retail technologies regionally and globally. He joined Savola Group in 2019.
Prior to Savola, Mohammad spent over 15 years focused on strategy, M&A and private equity in USA, Europe, and the GCC. He started his career in New York City, with Anderson consulting/Accenture where he focused on the telcom/tech/media industries. Post MBA, he joined Credit Suisse in the industrial M&A group in London and then subsequently moved to the GCC where he executed on private equity buy and build investment platforms strategies with leading GCC institutions across F&B, Healthcare, Education, Business services, Technology, Manufacturing, and Oil and Gas.
Mohammad holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from London Business School (UK) and a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial and Manufacturing Systems Engineering from Lehigh University (USA)
