Munther is a prominent leader in the Corporate Finance industry, publicly known for his ability to source, structure, and execute innovative and complex private equity transactions.

With over 25 years of Investment Banking and senior management roles with regional corporations and family groups, Munther was instrumental in creating numerous strategic joint ventures, spearheading acquisitions across the Mena region as well as cross-border, in multiple industries such as manufacturing, contracting, logistics, shipping, and hospitality, and successfully led portfolio companies exits.

With solid proven access to the investor community, including large family groups, regional and global institutions, as well as close access to UHNI, coupled with exceptional technical expertise, Munther founded Gate Capital in 2009, a boutique investment banking firm based in Dubai, led its remarkable success, and consequently expanded its footprint to Abu Dhabi and Riyadh.

Prior to that, Munther was the Chief Investment Officer of Unicorn Investment Bank. Munther also founded Capital Industries & Investments in 2005, a prominent PE firm and led the complete exit of it in early 2008 to a large regional institutional investor.

Munther is an active investor and mentor in the start-up space, a member of the Emirates Angels Investors, and serves on several boards of associated companies. Munther speaks publicly in media channels and international forums on the topics of PE, Private Credit and angel investing, VC, corporate finance, investment banking, and the general economy in the region.

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from McGill University in Canada
