Omar Al-Madhi

Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors and Chairman of the Executive Committee and acting CEO of Saudi Arabian Military Industries Company (SAMI), representing the Public Investment Fund (PIF). He holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Engineering Degree from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from MIT Sloan. He has extensive experience in the investment field.

Mr. Al-Madhi is currently the Head of Direct Investments within the Public Investment Fund’s (PIF) MENA Investments Division. He has previously held various leadership roles including Senior Managing Director and Board Member at Abdul Latif Jameel Investments, CEO of Volkswagen Group Saudi Arabia, Assistant Deputy Governor at SAGIA, Associate at McKinsey & Company and Research Engineer at Saudi Aramco.

Mr. Al-Madhi is currently the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Automotive & Mobility Investment Company (Tasaru), Chairman of Hadeed Company, Chairman of SAMI Alsalam, Vice Chairman of the Board and Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Regional Voluntary Carbon Market Company (RVCMC), Chairman of the Board and Chairman of the Remuneration & Nominations Committee of Jada the Fund of Funds, Chairman of Investment Committee of Industrial Company for Electronics (ALAT), and Chairman of Technical Investment Committee of Ceer. He is a Board member in various companies including ACWA Power, ElSeif Engineering Contracting Company, NEOM Investment Fund, and Riyadh Bank.
