Marc Menasé is a serial entrepreneur and investor with more than two decades of experience building and backing technology companies across Europe and the United States, with a growing focus on AI, defense and sovereign technologies.

A graduate of HEC Paris, Marc was part of the founding team of Kelkoo, acquired by Yahoo, and went on to build and exit several technology companies, including Nextedia and Epicery. He also launched DEE Tech, one of Europe’s first tech-focused SPACs, raising €165 million on Euronext Paris. As an investor, Marc has backed more than 100 companies, including Databricks, Mirakl and Teads.

In 2018, he founded Founders Future, a transatlantic investment platform with a presence in Paris, San Francisco. Founders Future has since backed more than 160 companies, including Saronic, Harmattan AI, Perplexity, Function Health, Riot, Yuka and AMI Labs.

Today, based in the US, Marc is particularly focused on the convergence of AI and sovereign technologies across defense, cybersecurity, space, health and robotics. Through Founders Future’s seed and growth US strategies, he backs category-defining technology companies and actively supports their global expansion, leveraging the firm’s transatlantic network and operating expertise to bridge the US and European ecosystems. In 2025, Marc was named a Knight of the French Ordre national du Mérite.
