Ms. Hong is the Founding Partner of Gaocheng Capital, a growth-stage investment firm focusing on enterprise software and services. Before founding Gaocheng Capital, Ms. Hong was a Partner, Head of Private Equity and Investment Committee member of Hillhouse Capital. Prior to Hillhouse, she was the Managing Director and Head of global emerging markets consumer sector, and Head of Beijing office of General Atlantic LLC. Prior to that, Ms. Hong worked for Warburg Pincus LLC and McKinsey & Company.

Ms. Hong has been engaged in growth stage private equity investment for over 16 years, led private investments including Alibaba (BABA), Meituan (3690.HK), Didi, ZTO Express (ZTO), Youzan (8083.HK), Tuya (YUYA), Fang.com (SFUN), Sun Art (6808.HK), Wind, Mobike, KidsWant, Deppon (603056.SH), XiabuXiabu (0520.HK) , Zhaopin (ZPIN), Bairong(0909.HK), Yitu, Huisuanzhang, Oray, UMU, SmartBI, 51CTO, etc.

Ms. Hong received MBA degree from Harvard Business School and a B.S. degree in International Finance and a M.S. degree in Engineering Management from Tsinghua University.
