Manjia Guan is a Managing Director and Head of Primaries Asia at Capital Dynamics, an independent global asset management firm focusing on private assets investments. She is a member of the firm’s global Primaries Committee and also a member of its Responsible Investment ("RI") Committee. She started private equity investing in 2005 with Capital Dynamics’ European investment team and later in 2008 transitioned to Hong Kong, where she has played an instrumental role in establishing the firm’s business in Asia. She heads up the Asia Primaries team in Hong Kong and Tokyo in committing to several dozen of funds in mid-market buyout, growth and venture space across Asia. She is also deeply involved in Secondaries and Co-investment transactions in Asia.
