Christian Oberbeck is a Principal at Willowridge Partners, a Private Equity Secondaries firm dedicated to the purchase of interests in venture capital, buyout, mezzanine and other private capital funds from existing investors seeking liquidity. In July, Willowridge Partners raised $900 million for its 9^th fund focused on secondary transactions. Christian has been at Willowridge Partners since 2016 and has helped the firm deploy over $1 billion in transactions across over 300 deals. Prior to Willowridge, Christian worked as an Associate at Sonenshine Partners, a mergers and acquisitions advisory firm based in New York. During his three years at Sonenshine Partners, he worked on advisory assignments on a large range of transaction types for both large cap and middle market companies in the technology, software, retail / ecommerce and healthcare sectors. Christian received an A.B. from Harvard College in 2011.
