John is a Partner at GroveStreet and focuses on expanding and enhancing our partnerships with existing investors and expanding the firm’s footprint and reach in the marketplace. John helps lead GroveStreet’s market-facing initiatives focused on business innovation and thought leadership.

Prior to joining GroveStreet, John was the Co-Head of the Private Client Practice for the Americas at Cambridge Associates. Previously, he was a Managing Director at Makena Capital where he worked with clients building endowment-style portfolios, and before that he was a Managing Director and Investment Committee member at TIFF Investment Management, where he managed the firm’s Outsourced Chief Investment Officer (OCIO) program. John started his investing career at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette in New York. Prior to business school, John was with PricewaterhouseCoopers in New York and completed a 2-year commitment with Teach For America in Los Angeles.
