Michael Bego is the Managing Partner of Kline Hill Partners, which he established in 2015. He is responsible for overall firm and investment oversight. He has 29 years of overall business experience, including 20 years of investment experience. Prior to founding Kline Hill Partners, Mr. Bego was a partner at secondary firm Willowridge Partners since 2005 where he focused on small-deal secondary sourcing, deal diligence and pricing, fundraising, and other firm activities. Mr. Bego has longstanding relationships throughout the secondary industry and annually hosts “THE Secondary Day,” an annual conference for secondary professionals.
Mr. Bego’s prior employment also includes consulting at McKinsey & Co. He previously ran the operations of Vincent Longo, conducting a successful turnaround of the company. Starting in 2000, Mr. Bego was a Vice President at Linux Global Partners investing in, overseeing, and running companies in the open source software space. Starting in 1993, he worked in consulting and sales at supply chain software firm Numetrix (now part of Oracle) out of Norwalk and Singapore.
Mr. Bego holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from Cornell University (1993) and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Columbia University Business School (2000).
