Amir Malayery is a Managing Director at Industry Ventures, a leading venture capital platform with over $5 billion of committed capital under management. Amir concentrates on secondary investments in later-stage, venture-backed companies and venture capital funds. He has led direct investments in technology companies, as well as through limited partnership interests in venture funds across various stages and geographies. Amir also started and co-manages the firm’s volunteering efforts through its “non-profit initiative IV^2”(“I Volunteer with Industry Ventures”) and serves as a member on the firm’s ESG & DEI Committee. Prior to Industry Ventures, Amir was founder and CEO of mobile commerce startup Dapper Shopping. Previously, Amir was an investor at Summit Partners, a growth equity firm where he focused on internet and technology investments. Amir received his MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA and MA from Stanford University.
