Arthur Karell is an investor and Partner at First In. He has over a decade of executive experience at technology startups FiscalNote (NYSE: NOTE), Anduril Industries, and Seashell Financial Inc. In addition to general counsel and revenue roles, he built and led corporate development teams that evaluated over a thousand technology product companies and executed $500 million worth of acquisitions. Arthur began his career as an attorney with a multinational corporate law firm before volunteering for service as an infantry officer in the U.S. Marine Corps, where he led combat units in Afghanistan and Western Pacific, received the Bronze Star for Valor, and ended active duty as a Captain. He is a graduate of Harvard University and received his J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law.
