Brian is the Co-Founder and Director of the Aegon Climate Capital strategy at Aegon Asset Management, with a thesis of investing in companies solving the world’s most pressing issues related to the environment and society. ACC focuses on decarbonizing the economy through technologies across areas of the built environment, distributed energy resources and advanced materials. Brian joined Aegon in 2017 to lead the design, development, and commercialization of numerous global investment businesses, with a specific emphasis on sustainability and impact-related solutions and is the co-chair of Aegon’s US Social Responsibility Committee. Prior to Aegon, Brian spent a decade at Congress Asset Management investing in private equity and venture capital and was head of product strategy, deploying in excess of $1 billion across innovative ventures. Brian is a member of The Milken Institute’s Young Leaders Circle, an expert advisor at AltaSea at the Port of Los Angeles, and a startup mentor to the gener8tor sustainability program.
