Bronwyn Bailey is Managing Director in the Fund Banking Group at J.P. Morgan Private Bank. Bronwyn draws on her deep background in private equity and venture capital to advise some of the most prominent clients across the Bay Area and beyond. She serves as an entry point to the global platform of J.P. Morgan and its fortress balance sheet, delivering them directly to the partners of PE and VC firms and the funds and firms themselves.

Bailey’s approach is to help clients improve operations through customized banking solutions such as credit facilities and other sophisticated services. Her guidance extends to the more traditional personal wealth management goals of GPs and LPs of these firms. She is a natural connector whose superpower can be found in the detailed attention she brings to each scenario while communicating macro impacts to leaders of organizations.

With a background in strategy and financial consulting and almost 20 years in financial services, Bronwyn’s strengths include fluency in data-driven decision making and technology/fintech innovation. She began working in the private funds business at SVB Capital, joining when it was a start-up and gaining exposure to investments and capital raising. Bronwyn has worked at BlackRock, the American Investment Council (private equity’s U.S. trade association) and First Republic.

Bronwyn earned a B.A. in International Relations from Cornell University and a Ph.D. in Political Science from UCLA. She holds the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA®) designation. Bronwyn is a published author frequently asked to speak at conferences and events on ESG, regulatory issues, and investment trends. She holds dual US/Irish citizenship and promotes a global mindset from living and working in the U.S., Belgium, the Netherlands and the U.K.

Active in programs that empower women in Finance, Bronwyn is the Treasurer at PEWIN, and former board member of the Northern California chapter of 100 Women in Finance and Financial Women of San Francisco. These organizations foster mentorship and funding to help women rise through the industry.
