As Head of Digital Asset Research at Blockchain Coinvestors, Topher drives strategy and research behind BCI’s early and mid-stage investments in tokens & equities across web3. To date, BCI has invested in 40+ blockchain funds globally and boast a portfolio of 1000+ companies, incl. 80+ blockchain unicorns.

Topher is also part of the team behind the BCI SPAC vehicle, Blockchain Coinvestors Acquisition Corp (BCSA), which led a 7x oversubscribed IPO in 2021, with the goal of helping leading blockchain companies make the transition to public markets.

He is also a member web3 incubation studio, CryptoOracle Collective, which partners with leading advisors, VCs, and service companies to offer a comprehensive launchpad to the most promising web3 projects. All driven by the belief that digital monies, commodities, and assets are inevitable.

Prior to blockchain, Topher consulted on executive rewards & senior talent strategy for Fortune 500s at Mercer, including equity LTI design, bankruptcy retention, M&A diligence, pay for performance and talent assessment. Topher received a double major from the Olin Business School at Washington University in St. Louis and is now based in the Bay Area.
