Gary is co-founder and Executive Chairman of Roofstock, an award-winning AI-powered services and software platform for participants in the $5 trillion Single-Family Rental (SFR) sector.

Roofstock’s mission is to Reinvent the Rental Housing Ecosystem for the Benefit of all Participants, which includes owners, renters and communities. Founded in 2015, Roofstock has raised over $400 million of venture capital from some of Silicon Valley’s leading investors including Kholsa Ventures, Bain Capital Ventures, Lightspeed Venture Partners, QED Investors and Softbank Vision Fund 2, achieving a $1.9 billion valuation at its last financing round in early 2022.

Today through its Mynd property management arm Roofstock manages 20,000 single-family rental homes on behalf of over 5,000 individual and institutional investors, helps power 1.5 million rental homes for 400,000 landlords with its Stessa asset management software, and has facilitated over $9 billion of single-family rental purchases and sales since inception.
