Jim Lockheed brings nearly a decade of experience backing early-stage companies. Prior to Oakridge, he spent 5 years at JetBlue Ventures, where he sourced and led 12 investments with a portfolio spanning AI, aerospace, robotics, hydrogen, sustainable fuels, and other frontier technologies. Before his venture career, Jim founded and exited one of the first FAA-authorized drone inspection companies, following roles at Boeing and the U.S. Air Force.

Jim holds an MBA from the University of Oregon and a BS from Embry-Riddle, graduating Summa Cum Laude.
