Abdulaziz Al Tamimi is A Senior HR Advisor for the Ministry of Investment of Saudi Arabia (previously SAGIA) where he has been instrumental in supporting the transformation and rapid growth of the organization to meet its mission as a key partner in Saudi Arabia’s 2030 Vision.

His career spans the public and private sectors, gaining insight across all facets of the Human Resources function. His experience includes the leadership of strategic HR projects for Mobily and managing talent strategy for Bahri, one of the world’s foremost transportation and logistics companies.

He has also held HR positions at Elm and the Saudi Commission for Tourism and National Heritage.

Abdulaziz is passionate about equipping both employees and businesses to reach their full potential. He believes that a well-functioning Human Resources department should create space for
employees to thrive and act as a strategic business partner to executive leaders. In this capacity, he holds an advisory position as Head of Nomination & Remuneration Committee for Facility Management Company (a PIF company).

He is a frequent speaker and guest on TV, radio, podcasts and events. Recent speaking engagements include the ATD Annual Conference in Saudi Arabia, the Annual Government HR Summit, and the HR MENA Tech Summit.

As an HR thought leader, Abdulaziz has also created a website where he shares best practice HR advice, with a focus on supporting the younger generation in advancing their careers.

Abdulaziz has over 19 years of experience holds a Bachelor degree and qualified by CIPD SHRM, and ATD.
