Emma Freyer currently leads the EMEA Tax Controversy team at Eaton and is responsible for handling Eaton`s EMEA wide tax audits, litigation as well as APA and MAP procedures. Her strategic approach to tax disputes and robust defense strategies have been instrumental in mitigating risks and fostering strong relationships with tax authorities. Prior to joining Eaton, Emma worked as a transfer pricing manager at Deloitte in Luxembourg and then in Austria. Emma holds an Advanced LLM in European and International Business Law from Leiden University in the Netherlands and an LLB from Queen Mary University of London and is a certified tax advisor. Having lived in 6 different countries over the past 10 years, she is fluent in multiple languages and is passionate about mentoring and contributing to tax policy discussions in the EMEA region.
