Giorgio is specialised in domestic and international taxation and advises enterprises and private clients. He is experienced in advising alternative investment fund managers based either in Italy or abroad, on corporate finance deals (project finance, structured finance, debt restructuring) and in M&A deals; he also assists high net worth individuals, family offices and international sportsmen in tax panning, in setting-up of trusts and in relocations to Italy or abroad; in addition, he is expert of tax aspects of investments in crypto assets.

He lectures at the postgraduate master’s degree in taxation of Il Sole 24 Ore Business School (Milan). He also speaks in tax seminars and conferences and is the author of articles in tax matters in specialized publications and journals.

Before joining Giovannelli e Associati, Giorgio has worked for fifteen years in leading Italian and international law firms.
