Profile

I began my career in tax advice in 1989 and spent 15 years at a West End accountancy firm before joining SRLV’s tax team in 2007. As a Tax Partner, I work across all our Creative, Corporate, Owner Managed Business (OMB) and Private Client divisions.

Alongside many of the tax specialists here, my work is multi-disciplined and multi-jurisdictional so I’m able to give full advice to clients, reviewing their personal and business taxes together. The tax industry doesn’t stand still and there are many, complex tax issues which we help clients to navigate.

Our work can be technical and involve international tax so it’s very varied and interesting. Naturally the US features heavily in our work (amongst many other countries), as we advise companies looking to base their operations and employees in the UK, or UK residents moving to the US.

My business clients are entrepreneurial and their tax issues can be anything from looking at business expansion, property portfolios, to thinking about their future and Inheritance Tax. Ultimately we’re there to ensure their wealth is structured as tax efficiently as possible.

As well as working with high net worth individuals and established businesses, we also support new fledgling artists and help start-up businesses with Enterprise Investments Schemes.

It’s always our aim to become an integral part of clients’ advisory teams; to be their sounding board, helping them to anticipate and solve issues as well as make the right strategic decisions for the future.
