Dr. Claudia Jochheim is a Biochemist with 28 years of experience in the biopharmaceutical industry and has been with Blaze Bioscience for the last 9 years. She held strategic leadership and subject matter expert positions and managed groups responsible for product supply chain, and analytical development from early phase through commercialization. Her experience includes all aspects of technology transfer to contract manufacturing organizations (CMOs) and CMO production oversight. She also leads the preparation of CMC regulatory filings with FDA and European agencies for drugs such as the antibody-drug-conjugate Adcetris® at Seattle Genetics, the Amgen Drugs Enbrel® and Vectibix®, and many clinical drug candidates.

Dr. Jochheim received her PhD in Analytical Chemistry from the University of Dortmund, Germany and a master’s degree in Biochemistry from the University of Bochum, Germany. She held a postdoctoral position at the University of Washington in the Department of Medicinal Chemistry. She has co-authored >20 peer reviewed manuscripts.
