David Craik is a Professor of Chemistry and Australian Research Council Laureate Fellow at the Institute for Molecular Bioscience, The University of Queensland, Brisbane, Australia. His research focuses on applications of cyclic peptides, toxins and NMR in drug design. He is a Fellow of the Australian Academy of Science and has received numerous awards for his research, including the Ralph F. Hirschmann Award from the American Chemical Society. He is author of 620 papers and has trained 70 PhD students.
