Hans Kistemaker obtained his BSc. and MSc. in chemistry from the University of Groningen and PhD from Leiden University. He started his career at ProQR Therapeutics in 2015 and is heading up the chemistry and drug substance manufacturing team within the CMC department at ProQR. In this role he is responsible for the development and optimization of the oligonucleotide manufacturing process and managing all relevant CMC aspects of manufacturing drug substance for clinical use. This includes managing activities at contract manufacturing organizations, product characterization and support regulatory submissions.
