Markus Mandler, PhD

Profile

Dr. Mandler is CSO of ACCANIS, bringing with him over 10 years of collaborative research and management experience spanning academia and industry. He completed his PhD at Boehringer Ingelheim´s Institute of Molecular Pathology in Vienna in 2003. During his PhD, he worked on skin development and especially focused on appendages including hair, feathers, and teeth. Dr. Mandler is a former department head at AFFiRiS where he was responsible for developing 5 immunotherapeutics from preclinic into early clinical development. He has authored numerous publications in high impact journals, several patents and has received multiple national and international research grants for his work.
