Stephen Spagnol received his B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Penn State in 2010, and went on to receive his Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon in 2015. He started his career at Merck & Co. in 2015 in Pharmaceutical Sciences. While at Merck, he led formulation and process development efforts in RNA therapeutics including vaccines and novel therapeutics in immuno-oncology. He also has extensive experience in the design and optimization of novel drug delivery technologies for RNA therapeutics. He recently joined Johnson & Johnson where he is a Senior Scientist in Large Molecule Drug Product Development.
