Jonathan Abysalh brings over 20 years of biotechnology expertise, holding a master’s in molecular biology. His career spans bio-assay development and more recently includes over a decade of experience in the field of mRNA synthesis and purification. This work started at Shire, spun off to become Translate Bio and ultimately was acquired by Sanofi. As a Sr. Director at Sanofi's mRNA Center of Excellence, Jonathan leads early-stage mRNA process development activities in the US. He oversees teams responsible for process architecture, drug substance characterization, and scale-up from R&D to cycle 1 GMP manufacturing readiness. Jonathan's innovative work is recognized through numerous patents and patent applications.
