Ahmed has more than 17 years of experience with multinational audit firms (Big 4); currently, he leads the tax function across the Middle East and Africa at IDH, a UK-listed group.

Ahmed participated in various tax planning assignments and transfer pricing projects. He led many tax optimization assignments for multinational corporations. In addition to several tax restructuring assignments, managing tax compliance reviews, and advising multinational and local clients in identifying risk areas related to tax and providing effective alternatives to mitigate the risks.

Ahmed is a Fellow Chartered Accountant who obtained his B.Sc. degree from Cairo University, followed by membership of ESSA.
