Profile

Henry Mundeya, FCCA is a high-impact global tax authority and Chief Executive Officer of Taxation Helpdesk, renowned for delivering results-driven international tax and transfer pricing solutions across complex and high-risk environments. With over 25 years of elite professional experience, he brings a rare and powerful combination of Big Four pedigree, revenue authority insight, and global development leadership.

A Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), Henry has built and defended tax positions for multinational groups, advised boards and C-suites, and supported governments and tax administrations on some of the most challenging tax matters globally. His career includes senior and specialist experience gained at KPMG and EY, where he led and contributed to complex cross-border structuring, transfer pricing policy design, audits, and controversy engagements. He further strengthens this perspective through hands-on public-sector experience with the South African Revenue Service (SARS), giving him an insider’s understanding of how tax authorities think, assess risk, and litigate.

At the global level, Henry is a trusted International Tax and Transfer Pricing Expert for the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the OECD initiative Tax Inspectors Without Borders (TIWB). Through these roles, he has worked directly with multiple tax authorities across Africa and beyond, delivering hands-on audit support, BEPS implementation, transfer pricing enforcement, and institutional capacity building helping governments secure revenue, combat tax evasion, and protect their tax bases.

Henry is widely recognised for translating OECD BEPS standards and transfer pricing rules into practical, defensible, and enforceable outcomes. His work is characterised by technical depth, commercial realism, and strategic clarity, making him a go-to advisor for organisations facing high-stakes audits, complex disputes, and regulatory scrutiny.

Driven by a commitment to transparency, good governance, and sustainable economic growth, Henry Mundeya stands out as a trusted advisor, reform leader, and global authority in international taxation and transfer pricing delivering confidence, credibility, and measurable impact where it matters most.
