Profile
Melissa Dejong has worked at the Centre for Tax Policy and Administration at the OECD since 2013. She has led and advised on a number of projects, including the OECD’s two pillar solution for the digitalised economy, harmful tax practices, tax transparency and tax crimes. More recently, she has contributed to the work on global mobility of individuals and simplification. She has a keen interest in supporting developing countries, and is currently on secondment at the African Tax Administration Forum.
An Australian lawyer, she started her career as a Judge’s Associate, and worked in tax in private practice in Sydney and in Singapore.
Melissa earned degrees in law and in international relations from the Australian National University and a Masters in Tax Law from New York University.
