Aparna Lakshminarasimhan is the Head of Group Transfer Pricing at GFG Alliance, a family-owned global business and investment conglomerate having operations primarily in the steel, energy and aluminium industries. She has been with GFG Alliance since 2021 and is based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

In her current role, Aparna is responsible for all group transfer pricing related matters. In addition, she is involved in design and implementation of several centralised functions within GFG Alliance and also leads the BEPS Pillar 2 initiative within GFG. Prior to joining GFG Alliance, Aparna worked with advisory firms including the Big Four - where she held senior positions. Aparna has worked across the Middle East & Africa, India, Hong Kong and Singapore.

Aparna has spoken at numerous events and has also authored articles on Transfer Pricing. In 2021, she was recognized by the International Tax Review (‘ITR’) as a Rising Star in the field of Transfer Pricing in EMEA region.
