Carlo specialises in transfer pricing, international corporate re-structuring and planning, cross-border taxation, and tax-effective supply chain transformations. He has worked in various jurisdictions in Southeast Asia as an International Tax and Transfer Pricing practitioner, giving him practical experience in dealing with tax authorities of these countries.

Carlo has led transfer pricing and international tax practices of Big 4 firms in several jurisdictions in Southeast Asia.

In 2011, 2013 and 2015, he was voted by Expert Guides as a leading TP advisor in Indonesia in its Guide to the World's Leading Transfer Pricing Advisers. He was also voted as a leading Transfer Pricing Adviser in the Philippines by Expert Guides in 2017, 2019 and 2021. In 2023, Carlo was recognized as a “Highly Regarded Tax and Transfer Pricing” practitioner in the Philippines and in Singapore.

In 2014, 2015 and 2016, Carlo was also recognized as one of the Tax Controversy Leaders in Indonesia by the International Tax Review and in the Philippines in 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021.

In 2016, under his leadership, Deloitte Indonesia was recognized as the National Transfer Pricing Firm of the Year by the International Tax Review for its innovative contributions to Transfer Pricing in Indonesia, confirming its leading position in the market. Since its establishment in 2017, Deloitte Philippines has been awarded the Transfer Pricing Firm of the Year in 2018, 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023, a testament to its leadership in the Philippines. Similarly, Deloitte Singapore won the National Transfer Pricing firm of the year in 2023.

Carlo’s TP practices are ranked as Tier 1 in Indonesia (since 2013) and the Philippines (since 2017).
