Surin Segar is a Senior Executive Vice President at Maybank, overseeing taxation for the Group. He also serves as the Chief Financial Officer of Maybank Foundation. In addition to his corporate roles, Surin chairs the tax committees at both the Association of Banks in Malaysia and the Malaysian Investment Banking Association. He is also a member of the tax committees at the Malaysian Institute of Accountants and CPA Australia. He was recently appointed as a Council Member with the Malaysian Institute of Accountant (MIA). Surin has held several prominent leadership positions in the past, including President of the CPA Australia Divisional Council in Malaysia and chair of the Disciplinary Committee with the Malaysian Institute of Accountant (MIA).
