Catherine is a Partner in BDO’s Tax division in Sydney, specializing in M&A advisory, tax compliance, and strategic tax dispute management, particularly within the energy, industrial, corporate, and non-profit sectors. Catherine provides advisory and tax compliance services to clients as well as assisting in the strategic management of tax disputes with the Australian Taxation Office With over 20 years of experience in corporate tax, she is a Chartered Tax Adviser, a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, and a registered tax agent. Catherine represents the Tax Institute on the large business and international working group committee and frequently presents on corporate tax matters. She holds a Master of Laws in Taxation and a Bachelor of Laws/Business, and she is a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of New South Wales.
