Thomas Ewigleben is an Executive Director at BDO Singapore, where he leads the APAC Global Value Chain Practice, bringing over 30 years of international tax and supply chain expertise. Known for his business-driven approach, Tom delivers strategic tax planning solutions that balance both tax and non-tax considerations to create sustainable financial benefits. His experience spans a variety of industries, including pharmaceuticals, consumer products, chemicals, high tech, and automotive, with a focus on international tax issues related to supply chain transformation, business expansions, operating model shifts, and cross-border transactions across multiple tax jurisdictions. Tom’s expertise includes centralized value chain models in Asia, the U.S., Europe, and Central and South America, having spent several years in Singapore leading a value chain tax practice for a Big Four accounting firm. Before joining BDO, he was a Tax Managing Director in Big Four public accounting, and he holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting and a master’s degree in taxation from the University of Central Florida.
