Nicholas is senior tax specialist who leads the ATOs thin capitalisation team. Since joining the ATO as a graduate economist ten years ago, Nicholas has worked within specialist teams in the Public Groups & Internationals business line providing technical and strategic advice to auditors in relation to transfer pricing and thin capitalisation. Having developed a specialisation in financial transactions, Nicholas has contributed to the development of guidance products outlining the ATOs compliance approach to cross-border related party finance and the application of the arm’s length debt test.
