Jayme is a Managing Director in KPMG’s Washington National Tax group based out of San Francisco and is a key member of KPMG’s Tax Controversy & Dispute Resolution team with 20 years of transfer pricing experience. He specializes in preventing and resolving transfer pricing disputes on behalf of multinational corporations, including Advance Pricing Agreements, Mutual Agreement Procedure settlements, as well as domestic U.S. audits and appeals processes. Jayme has successfully negotiated dozens of APA and MAP cases with several foreign jurisdictions. Jayme recently returned to KPMG after spending his previous 13 years with the Internal Revenue Service. Most recently, Jayme worked as a Team Manager and Competent Authority Analyst in the Internal Revenue Service’s Advance Pricing and Mutual Agreement (APMA) organization where he oversaw the development and negotiation of APAs and MAP settlements with foreign competent authorities. While at APMA, Jayme had responsibilities for competent authority cases with Japan, Korea, Indonesia, and South Africa. Prior to APMA, Jayme spent several years serving in the Transfer Pricing Organization of the IRS as a Senior Economist conducting high profile transfer pricing examinations of U.S. headquartered multinational corporations with specific expertise in cost-sharing arrangements and subsequent related acquisitions.
