Matheus Piedade has over 25 years of international tax experience, starting from Big 4 public accounting firms to Forbes 100 corporations, such as Cisco, Halliburton, Person, Uber, Huawei and Playa Resorts. He has the experience of over 40 tax country jurisdictions.

His main responsibilities includes tax planning, transfer pricing, OECD Pillar, tax compliance, tax controversy/litigation, tax incentive regulatory compliance, customs and duties, authorities negotiations on APAs and many others.

Currently lead tax initiatives and multi-jurisdiction projects in the Americas and European countries. Reporting to C-Suit and Audit Committee.

His prior career included working for major international accounting and law firms holding roles such as Arthur Andersen and Deloitte, Matheus Piedade is fluent in English, Portuguese and Spanish and a frequent speaker at TP Minds of America and Tax Executives Institute (TEI)

His academic credentials include Master International Tax Jurisprudence at Texas A&M, Master Tax GV Law – Sao Paulo Brazil and Pontifical University of São Paulo, Brazil (2000); Business & Finance.
