Iskra DoukovaSenior Counsel at MacfarlanesSpeaker
Profile
Iskra advises on a broad range of private client issues, including tax, asset structuring, estate and succession planning, family governance and transparency initiatives such as the Common Reporting Standard automatic information exchange regime and the UK Trust Registration Service.
Almost all of her work has an international dimension. She acts for high-net-worth individuals and internationally mobile families (a number of whom have no significant UK connections) as well as their advisers, family offices, charities and trustees. This often involves complex international tax and estate planning, co-ordinating advice from an international team of advisers and balancing a number of (sometimes competing) family, legal and practical considerations.
