Mirek has more than 19 years’ experience in financial services, with a particular focus on working with institutional as well private investors to implement and oversee the governance structures for their international investments. As well as being an expert in client service delivery, he is an experienced leader, well versed in organic growth, new client acquisition and jurisdictional expansion.

Prior to joining IQ-EQ, Mirek was Managing Director for an independent trustee and corporate administration firm in Jersey, where he was responsible for growing and delivering corporate, funds and private wealth service offerings in Jersey, Cayman, UK, and Abu Dhabi. Mirek has also acted as a director on the boards of a number of entities owned by listed companies and sovereign wealth funds as well as private foundations and private trust companies.

Mirek is a member of the International Compliance Association and the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners. He holds three postgraduate Law degrees from leading institutions in the Czech Republic and London, an International Diploma in Compliance and is currently studying to attain PhD in comparative corporate, foundation and trust law as well as masters in organisational psychology.
