Mustafa Hussain is Managing Director of Accuro’s London office and Chief Strategy Officer of Opera Group. He is an international corporate commercial lawyer who qualified and trained in England and has lived and worked in London, Singapore and Kuwait over the last 25 years.

Mustafa’s extensive experience in advising private clients spans royal families and ultra-high-net-worth individuals across the Middle East. His expertise includes advising Muslim families on governance, Islamic succession, private wealth structures, trusts, foundations, family investment companies and professional non-executive directorships, as well as consulting for private offices.

His work is culturally attuned, aligning wealth strategies, philanthropy (Waqf and Zakat), and family objectives within a Shariah context.

Mustafa has carried out work in the philanthropic space for ‘UK for UNHCR – The United Nations Refugee Agency’, developing education and awareness about the use of Zakat monies in Islamic philanthropy in the protection of refugees.
