Ciarán is a sustainability professional with a wealth of experience working within the construction sector for fifteen years. He specialises in climate-resilience and carbon disclosures across the UK, USA, and Hong Kong.

Ciarán as Senior Sustainability Manager working across Balfour Beatty’s international operations, led on the Group’s Science Based Target development and validation process with the SBTi, integrated Scope 3 reporting into the business and is the sustainability representative on a cross-disciplinary working group for climate disclosures, risks and opportunities.

Before joining the construction sector, Ciarán has a background in sustainable development in the film industry, academia and the third sector.
