Paul has worked on “both sides of the fence” during his career of over 30 years. He has led sustainability and CSR/ESG teams in retail (he produced Sainsbury’s first Environment Report in 1995 and was Asda’s first environmental professional) , energy (npower) and government (Audit Commission) and also been a consultant (Wimpey Environmental; Halcrow; Atkins) advising clients in defence, government and the private sector on environmental management systems, greening procurement, waste and energy management. Currently, as Senior Sustainability Manager for the Green Britain Group, Paul is enjoying working for a company where the door to the Boardroom is open, rather than having to break it down.
